The Nissan Rogue simply can’t compare. For one thing, it only comes with one engine across all trim levels: a standard 1.5L 4-cylinder Turbo. Additionally, the best this engine can achieve in terms of output is just 201 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque.

Each of these SUVs is built to offer a smooth and satisfying ride. Since the 2023 Edge comes standard with an 8-speed automatic transmission, whereas the 2023 Rogue has a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission), you may find the Ford offers a sportier feel on the road.
The Edge also comes standard with Intelligent All-Wheel Drive (AWD) on all models. This system enhances handling and maximizes traction in all conditions by balancing torque between the front and rear wheels. Meanwhile the Rogue comes standard with Front-Wheel Drive, although AWD is available on higher trims.

Compare that to the 183-inch length, 72.4-inch width, and 3,457-pound weight of the Nissan Rogue. The Ford Edge also has a longer wheelbase at 112.2 inches, while the Nissan Rogue’s is just 106.5 inches. That extra heft and longer wheelbase will make the Edge more stable at higher speeds, so you can confidently cruise down the highway.

Both SUVs have seating for up to five riders, but when it comes to their interior dimensions, the 2023 Edge has more to offer with its 113.9 cubic feet of passenger volume. The Rogue offers its passengers just 105.4 cubic feet.
Plus, rear-seat passengers will no doubt find the Ford Edge more comfortable. Even your tallest friend will be able to stretch out in the back row of the Edge with 40.3 inches of headroom and 40.6 inches of legroom. The same can’t be said for the Nissan Rogue, which has just 39.2 inches of rear headroom and 38.5 inches of rear legroom.
Both models offer high-end materials such as leather for you to relax into. However, only the Ford offers an available 10-way power driver’s seat so you can completely customize your seat. The Rogue just has an available 8-way power adjustment feature.
Of course, you’ll also need a way to stay informed, connected, and entertained during your drives. Both models provide infotainment systems that include smartphone integration. However, you may appreciate the system in the Edge more thanks to its 12-inch touchscreen and six speakers. The Rogue’s screen measures eight inches, and it comes standard with just four speakers.
Plus, the Ford Edge comes standard with the FordPass® 4G LTE WI-Fi Hotspot. This system enables you to connect up to 10 devices at once and access it up to 50 feet outside the vehicle. Although the Nissan Rogue offers a Wi-Fi hotspot, it’s only available with an upgrade to a higher trim.
